01 — Context
Businesses wanted to run customer conversations on WhatsApp at scale: send templated notifications, route inbound messages to the right place, and see what's happening across thousands of conversations.
This platform sits between Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API and the business's own systems, and it's built for high-throughput business messaging.
02 — What I built
Webhook processing
Ingests Cloud API webhooks for inbound messages and delivery status updates.
Automated routing
Routes incoming messages automatically so conversations reach the right handler.
Template management
Manages the WhatsApp message templates used for outbound notifications.
Conversation analytics
Visibility into conversation volume and message status across the account.
03 — How it's built
- Node.js and Express for the API and webhook endpoints.
- MongoDB for conversations, templates and message state.
- Docker for consistent, repeatable deployments.
